BNV : এরপর অবশালোম নিজের জন্য একটা রথ এবং অনেকগুলো ঘোড়া নিল| যখন সে রথ চালিয়ে যেত তখন তার রথের সামনে দৌড়াবার জন্য 50 জন লোকও ছিল|
KJV : And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him.

BNV : অবশালোম প্রতিদিন সকালে খুব ভোরে উঠে ফটকের কাছেএসে দাঁড়াত| অবশালোম এমন একজনকে খুঁজত যে তার সমস্যা নিয়ে বিচারের জন্য রাজা দায়ূদের কাছে যাচ্ছে| অবশালোম তার সঙ্গে কথা বলত| অবশালোম বলত, “কোন শহর থেকে তুমি আসছ?” লোকটা হয়তো বলত, “আমি ইস্রায়েলের অমূক পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর অমূক পরিবারের লোক|”
KJV : And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city [art] thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
YLT : and Absalom hath risen early, and stood by the side of the way of the gate, and it cometh to pass, every man who hath a pleading to come unto the king for judgment, that Absalom calleth unto him, and saith, `Of what city [art] thou?` and he saith, `Of one of the tribes of Israel [is] thy servant.`

ESV : And Absalom used to rise early and stand beside the way of the gate. And when any man had a dispute to come before the king for judgment, Absalom would call to him and say, "From what city are you?" And when he said, "Your servant is of such and such a tribe in Israel,"
ERVEN : Absalom would get up early and stand near the gate. He would watch for anyone with problems who was going to King David for judgment. Then Absalom would talk to them and say, "What city are you from?" They would say they were from such and such tribe in Israel.

BNV : তখন অবশালোম তাকে বলত, “দেখ, তুমি ঠিক বলেছ কিন্তু রাজা তো তোমার কথা শুনবেন না|”
KJV : And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters [are] good and right; but [there is] no man [deputed] of the king to hear thee.
YLT : And Absalom saith unto him, `See, thy matters [are] good and straightforward -- and there is none hearkening to thee from the king.`
RV : And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.
RSV : Absalom would say to him, "See, your claims are good and right; but there is no man deputed by the king to hear you."

ERVEN : Then Absalom would say, "Look, you are right, but King David will not listen to you."

BNV : অবশালোম বলত, “আহা, আমার ইচ্ছা হয় কেউ বেশ আমাকে এই দেশের বিচারক করে দিত| তাহলে যারা সমস্যা নিয়ে আমার কাছে আসত তাদের প্রত্যেককে আমি সাহায্য করতে পারতাম| তার সমস্যার সুষ্ঠ সমাধান পেতে আমি তাকে সাহায্য করতে পারতাম|”
KJV : Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!
YLT : And Absalom saith, `Who doth make me a judge in the land, that unto me doth come every man who hath a plea and judgment? -- then I have declared him righteous.`
RV : Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!

BNV : যদি কোন ব্যক্তি অবশালোমের কাছে এসে মাথা নীচু করে, তাহলে সে তার সঙ্গে তার সবচেয়ে ভাল বন্ধুর মতই ব্যবহার করত| আবশালোম গিয়ে তাকে হাত বাড়িযে জড়িয়ে ধরত এবং চুম্বন করত|
KJV : And it was [so,] that when any man came nigh [to him] to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
YLT : And it hath come to pass, in the drawing nearing of any one to bow himself to him, that he hath put forth his hand, and laid hold on him, and given a kiss to him;
RV : And it was so, that when any man came nigh to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took hold of him, and kissed him.

ERVEN : And if anyone came to Absalom and started to bow down to him, Absalom would treat him like a close friend—he would reach out and touch him and kiss him.

BNV : সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়রা, যারা রাজা দায়ূদের কাছে ন্যাযের জন্য আসত তাদের প্রত্যেকের সঙ্গেই অবশালোম এক রকম আচরণ করত| এই ভাবে অবশালোম ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের মন জয় করেছিল|
KJV : And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.
YLT : and Absalom doth according to this thing to all Israel who come in for judgment unto the king, and Absalom stealeth the heart of the men of Israel.

BNV : চার বছরপর অবশালোম রাজা দায়ূদকে বলল, “হিব্রোণে থাকার সময় প্রভুর কাছে যে বিশেষ প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলাম তা পূরণ করার জন্যে আমাকে যেতে দিন|
KJV : And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, at the end of forty years, that Absalom saith unto the king, `Let me go, I pray thee, and I complete my vow, that I vowed to Jehovah in Hebron,
RV : And it came to pass at the end of forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.
RSV : And at the end of four years Absalom said to the king, "Pray let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed to the LORD, in Hebron.

ERVEN : After four years, Absalom said to King David, "Please let me go to Hebron to complete a special promise that I made to the Lord.

BNV : অরামের গশূরে থাকার সমযেও আমি সেই একই প্রতিশ্রুতি করেছিলাম| আমি বলেছিলাম, ‘প্রভু যদি আমাকে জেরুশালেমে ফিরিযে আনেন, আমি প্রভুর সেবা করব|”‘
KJV : For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.
YLT : for a vow hath thy servant vowed in my dwelling in Geshur, in Aram, saying, If Jehovah doth certainly bring me back to Jerusalem, then I have served Jehovah.`
RV : For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall indeed bring me again to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.
RSV : For your servant vowed a vow while I dwelt at Geshur in Aram, saying, `If the LORD will indeed bring me back to Jerusalem, then I will offer worship to the LORD.'"

ERVEN : I made that promise while I was still living in Geshur in Aram. I said, 'If the Lord brings me back to Jerusalem, I will serve the Lord in a special way.'"

BNV : রাজা দায়ূদ বলেন, “শান্তিতে যাও|”অবশালোম হিব্রোণে চলে গেলেন|
KJV : And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.
YLT : And the king saith to him, `Go in peace;` and he riseth and goeth to Hebron,
RV : And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.
RSV : The king said to him, "Go in peace." So he arose, and went to Hebron.

ERVEN : King David said, "Go in peace." Absalom went to Hebron.

BNV : কিন্তু অবশালোম ইস্রায়েলের প্রত্যেকটা পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর কাছে গুপ্তচর পাঠাল| চররা লোকদের বলতে লাগল, “যখন তোমরা শিঙার রব শুনবে তখন বলবে ‘অবশালোম হিব্রোণের রাজা হয়েছে|”‘
KJV : But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.
YLT : and Absalom sendeth spies through all the tribes of Israel, saying, `At your hearing the voice of the trumpet, then ye have said, Absalom hath reigned in Hebron.`
RV : But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom is king in Hebron.

ERVEN : But he also sent spies to all the tribes of Israel. They told the people, "When you hear the trumpet, say, 'Absalom is king in Hebron!'"

BNV : অবশালোম তার সঙ্গে যাবার জন্য200 জন লোককে ডাকল| তারা তার সঙ্গে জেরুশালেম থেকে চলে গেল কিন্তু তারা জানে না, সে কি পরিকল্পনা করেছে|
KJV : And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, [that were] called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing.
YLT : And with Absalom have gone two hundred men, out of Jerusalem, invited ones, and they are going in their simplicity, and have not known anything;

ERVEN : Absalom invited 200 men to go with him. They left Jerusalem with him, but they did not know what he was planning.

BNV : অহীথোফল দায়ূদের অন্যতম একজন পরামর্শদাতা ছিল| অহীথোফল ছিল গীলো শহরের লোক| অবশালোম যখন উত্সর্গ নিবেদন করেছিল তখন সে অহীথোফলকে তার শহর গীলো থেকে ডেকে পাঠাল| অবশালোমের ফন্দি খুব ভালভাবেই কার্য়করী হয়েছিল এবং বহু লোক তাকে সমর্থন করেছিল|
KJV : And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, [even] from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
YLT : and Absalom sendeth Ahithophel the Gilonite, a counsellor of David, out of his city, out of Gilo, in his sacrificing sacrifices; and the conspiracy is strong, and the people are going and increasing with Absalom.
RV : And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David-s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

ASV : And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, Davids counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
ESV : And while Absalom was offering the sacrifices, he sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city Giloh. And the conspiracy grew strong, and the people with Absalom kept increasing.
ERVEN : Ahithophel was one of David's advisors. He was from the town of Giloh. While Absalom was offering sacrifices, he invited Ahithophel to join. Absalom's plans were working very well and more and more people began to support him.

BNV : দায়ূদকে সংবাদ দিতে একজন লোক এলো| সে বলল, “ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা অবশালোমকে অনুসরণ করতে শুরু করেছে|”
KJV : And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.
YLT : And he who is declaring tidings cometh in unto David, saying, `The heart of the men of Israel hath been after Absalom.`
RV : And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.
RSV : And a messenger came to David, saying, "The hearts of the men of Israel have gone after Absalom."
ASV : And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.
ESV : And a messenger came to David, saying, "The hearts of the men of Israel have gone after Absalom."
ERVEN : A man came in to tell the news to David. The man said, "The people of Israel are beginning to follow Absalom."

BNV : তারপর দায়ূদ জেরুশালেমে বসবাসকারী তাঁর সব আধিকারিকদের বললেন, “আমরা পালিয়ে যাব| আমরা যদি পালিয়ে না যাই, অবশালোম আমাদের যেতে দেবে না| তাড়াতাড়ি কর, যেন অবশালোম আমাদের ধরতে না পারে| সে আমাদের এবং জেরুশালেমের সব লোককে মেরে ফেলবে|”
KJV : And David said unto all his servants that [were] with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not [else] escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
YLT : And David saith to all his servants who [are] with him in Jerusalem, `Rise, and we flee, for we have no escape from the face of Absalom; haste to go, lest he hasten, and have overtaken us, and forced on us evil, and smitten the city by the mouth of the sword.`
RV : And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for else none of us shall escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
RSV : Then David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise, and let us flee; or else there will be no escape for us from Absalom; go in haste, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword."
ASV : And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for else none of us shall escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
ESV : Then David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise, and let us flee, or else there will be no escape for us from Absalom. Go quickly, lest he overtake us quickly and bring down ruin on us and strike the city with the edge of the sword."
ERVEN : Then David said to all of his officers who were still in Jerusalem with him, "Come on, we cannot let him trap us here in Jerusalem. Hurry up, before he catches us. He will destroy us all, and Jerusalem will be destroyed in the battle."

BNV : রাজার আধিকারিকরা তাঁকে বলল, “আপনি আমাদের যা বলবেন, আমরা তাই করব|”
KJV : And the king’s servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants [are ready to do] whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.
YLT : And the servants of the king say unto the king, `According to all that my lord the king chooseth -- lo, thy servants [do].`

ERVEN : The king's officers told him, "We will do whatever you tell us."

BNV : রাজা দায়ূদ লোকজন সহ পালিয়ে গেলেন| রাজা তাঁর বাড়ী দেখাশোনা করার জন্য তাঁর দশজন উপপত্নীকে রেখে গেলেন|
KJV : And the king went forth, and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, [which were] concubines, to keep the house.
YLT : And the king goeth out, and all his household at his feet, and the king leaveth ten women -- concubines -- to keep the house.

KJV : And the king went forth, and all the people after him, and tarried in a place that was far off.
YLT : And the king goeth out, and all the people at his feet, and they stand still at the farthest off house.

BNV : তাঁর সমস্ত আধিকারিক তাঁর সামনে দিয়ে হেঁটে সবলে গেল| করেথীয, পলেথীয এবং (গাতের 600 পুরুষ) রাজার সামনে দাঁড়াল|
KJV : And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men which came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.
YLT : And all his servants are passing on at his side, and all the Cherethite, and all the Pelethite, and all the Gittites, six hundred men who came at his feet from Gath, are passing on at the front of the king.
RV : And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men which came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.

ERVEN : All of his officers passed by the king. And all of the Kerethites, all of the Pelethites, and the Gittites (600 men from Gath) passed by the king.

BNV : রাজা গাতের ইত্তযকে বললেন, “কেন তুমিও আমাদের সঙ্গে যাচ্ছ? ফিরে যাও| নতুন রাজা অবশালোমের সঙ্গে য়োগ দাও| তুমি একজন ভিন্দেশী| এটা তোমার দেশ নয়|
KJV : Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou [art] a stranger, and also an exile.
YLT : And the king saith unto Ittai the Gittite, `Why dost thou go -- thou also -- with us? turn back -- and abide with the king, for thou [art] a stranger, and also an exile thou -- to thy place.
RV : Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile; {cf15i return} to thine own place.
RSV : Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, "Why do you also go with us? Go back, and stay with the king; for you are a foreigner, and also an exile from your home.
ASV : Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return, and abide with the king: for thou art a foreigner, and also an exile; return to thine own place.
ESV : Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, "Why do you also go with us? Go back and stay with the king, for you are a foreigner and also an exile from your home.
ERVEN : The king said to Ittai from Gath, "Why are you also going with us? You are a foreigner, this is not your homeland. Go back and stay with the new king.

BNV : কেবলমাত্র গতকাল তুমি আমাদের সঙ্গে য়োগ দিয়েছ| তুমি নিশ্চয়ই আমার সঙ্গে এক জায়গা থেকে আর এক জায়গায় ঘুরে বেড়াবে না? তুমি তোমার ভাইদের নাও এবং যাও| তোমার প্রতি দয়া ও আনুগত্য প্রদর্শিত হোক্|”
KJV : Whereas thou camest [but] yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth [be] with thee.
YLT : Yesterday [is] thy coming in, and to-day I move thee to go with us, and I am going on that which I am going! -- turn back, and take back thy brethren with thee, -- kindness and truth.`
RV : Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I may? return thou, and take back thy brethren; mercy and truth be with thee.
